Leaving your home

Emigrating is an intrinsically human experience, but often full of pain: leaving your home and loved ones with the knowledge of not being able to see them again is an extremely difficult choice. The difference between those who move legally and those who do so irregularly often lies in the strength of their passport. For many people with weak passports, legal routes to migration simply do not exist.

The power of a passport

Those without a privileged passport are therefore often forced to face dangerous routes and live in the shadows, without any legal rights and subject to harassment, violence and racism. We fight every day so that fundamental human rights apply to everyone, regardless of their passport of origin.

Our campaigns

Over the years, we have witnessed the increase in migratory flows and the increase in cases of unaccompanied minors, often left vulnerable and without adequate support. At the same time, the response has too often been walls, hotspots, and increasingly closed borders, which have reinforced exclusion instead of offering protection. Faced with this reality, we moved with determination to bring about concrete changes.

FORGOTTEN CONFLICTS

The rules of war

Indiscriminate attacks on schools, hospitals, markets and the use of food and essential goods as weapons of war are illegal practices even during wars, but unfortunately increasingly widespread. Thanks to our independence, we consistently stand up for civilians, regardless of the parties involved in the conflict.

Our commitment to Peace is intrinsically linked to the awareness that true Peace cannot be achieved without guaranteeing justice to the victims of every conflict, nor without addressing the injustices that very often form its root.

Children in conflict

Children are among the most vulnerable victims in conflicts. Not only are they directly exposed to psychological and physical violence, but they often find themselves orphaned, injured or forced to flee their homes. Attacks on schools and civilian infrastructure, combined with the economic crisis and poverty, force millions of children around the world into a life marked by deprivation and violence, denying them the fundamental right to education.

Our campaigns

Millions of people living in conflict zones around the world suffer in the shadows, depending on humanitarian aid for their survival. Their suffering persists, but their voices have been drowned out by global indifference. In our ongoing commitment to a world at Peace, we are dedicated to raising awareness of these forgotten conflicts and working to ensure that no one is left behind by addressing injustices and spreading awareness of these ignored realities.

CHILD LABOR

The causes of child labor

The causes of child labor are many and often context-related, but they all have a common denominator: poverty. We firmly believe that poverty is not an individual's fault, but rather the result of economic, political and social systems that condemn many children to deprivation and denial of their fundamental rights. Through our Schools, we seek to emancipate our students and their families from this unfair situation, building with them a future that promotes individual and collective well-being in their communities. However, millions of other children around the world continue to work in inhumane conditions.

In a world where multinationals and large international corporations increasingly hold power and influence over global processes, it is crucial to initiate systemic change through the obligation to ensure transparency and accountability in their supply chains. This fundamental step is necessary so that human, children and environmental rights are respected and protected.
